TOP GUN uses a state of the art Mustang Dyno MD-150-SE load-bearing eddy-current Chassis Dynamometer. Results are weather-corrected and the dyno reliably handles everything from a 50-hp grocery getter to a 1300 hp racecar! With every Dyno session you receive a printout that includes rpm, hp and torque *air/fuel ratio and vacuum/boost readings upon request*.
Forced Induction
Whether it be a turbocharger or supercharger, forced induction is used to increase both the power and efficiency of your vehicle, and is one of the most popular performance bolt-on options we offer. Both of these options use a compressor to increase the air intake of your engine and turn your vehicle into a formidable roaring beast.
Superchargers vs. Turbochargers
Superchargers are driven from your vehicle’s crankshaft, they take power to make power. Where as Turbochargers are driven from exhaust that would otherwise be wasted. Turbochargers take very little horsepower to make big horsepower and when spec’d correctly for your combination, will keep making big HP at increased RPMS.
CAMSHAFTS
The camshaft is also a very important part in making sure your combination performs to its peak potential. In fact, a camshaft will have a major effect on your Forced Induction build. It will literally make or break you vehicles peak performance!
